Scientists performed a full genome analysis on Osbourne’s DNA to determine how the hard-partying rocker has managed to survive a lifestyle that would likely kill any other human being. The results of the roughly $40,000 test, conducted by Cambridge, Massachusetts-based genome researchers Knome, hope to uncover how Ozzy’s body react to drugs and alcohol just from a simple sample of his blood. Results from the test will arrive three months after analysis.
In addition to drinking and taking drugs for what he estimates to be four decades of his life, Ozzy also survived a 2003 bike accident that broke his neck and he currently suffers from a genetic disorder that is similar to Parkinson’s Disease. Still, Osbourne’s been going strong.
Only TRUE rockstars can give the middle finger to death.
